K utkání jsme odjížděli nekompletní a s jen 9 hráčkami připravených hrát těžké utkání. Užší sestava však bojovala a od začátku byla lepším týmem. Naše vedení do poločasové přestávky narostlo na 20 bodů a i důležitou třetí čtvrtinu jsme zvládli a mohli tak utkání s poklidem dohrát. Urputné ale celkem kvalitní basketbalové utkání narušoval jen trenér domácích, jeho neustálé scestné výkřiky všemi směry nemají u mládeže tím spíše dívek co dělat a nejsou hodné našeho sportu.

Oslabený tým domácích a naše výrazné vítězství v předchozím vzájemném zápase zřejmě zapříčinilo, že náš výkon byl v prvním poločase mdlý. Holkám se nechtělo běhat a především bránit. Po důraznější poločasové promluvě se náš přístup k utkání zlepšil a holky předvedly i několik pohledných akcí.
USK – Tygři Praha 57:61 (16:17, 26:32, 41:47)
Těšili jsme se na další kvalitní utkání s rivalem a účastníkem MČR. Na hráčkách USK bylo od začátku vidět velké odhodlání odčinit předchozí vysokou porážku. Od začátku se tedy hrálo ve vysokém tempu a na obou stranách měli diváci možnost vidět krásné kombinace. Náš tým po celý poločas mírně vedl, ale k výraznějšímu vedení nám scházela trpělivost a lepší organizace hry. I v druhém poločase se hrálo divácky atraktivní utkání, v kterém se hráčky USK snažily o vyrovnání stavu skóre a překlopení vedení na svou stranu. Naše holky začaly zmatkovat, organizace naší hry se rozpadala, ale díky nesmírné bojovnosti jsme ve vyrovnané koncovce uhájili vítězství. Toto jsou přesně utkání, které pro náš „růst“ potřebujeme, náročné psychicky a fyzicky, odkrývající naše slabiny a chyby. Oceňuji že, i když holky nepodali ideální výkon (především pak v druhém poločase), dokázaly zápas vyhrát. Skvělá byla opět i atmosféra zápasu, diváci se chovali korektně a povzbuzovali své týmy. Naši diváci nám vytvořili domácí prostředí a je také jejich nemalá zásluha, že jsme vyhráli. I hráčky se ve vyrovnaném utkání k sobě chovali v rámci fair play a ukázalo to vyspělost a úroveň obou týmů.
