BK Sojky Pelhřimov – BŠ Tygři Praha 45:98 (15:19, 25:50, 40:68)
Sobotní utkání v Pelhřimově začal s velkou chutí Martin: koš za dva, koš za tři a krásný dunk. Ostatní Tygři se rozjížděli pomaleji a tak to byl první čtvrtinu vyrovnaný souboj. V dalších osmi minutách jsme domácím povolili pouhé 3 body z trestných hodů a sami jsme si připsali bodů 29. Podobný průběh měl i druhý poločas, lichá část byla poměrně vyrovnaná a ta poslední byla plně v režii Tygrů. Odehráli jsme jeden z lepších zápasů, koncentrovaný (poměrně) výkon v obraně, výborný přechod do rychlého protiútoku a dost podařených akcí v postupném útoku. Za zmínku stojí dva krásné back doory i mnoho dobře připravených střel po výborných přihrávkách. V poslední minutě to byl boj o pokoření stobodové hranice. Obě možnosti jsme odmítli (Jáša k tomu měl blízko). Zajímavý je velký rozdíl lichých a sudých čtvrtin – 30:37 a 15:61.

Za 16 hodin se odehrál druhý díl souboje s pelhřimovskými hráči v Jenči. V domácím utkání jsme si vytvořili desetibodový náskok už v průběhu první čtvrtiny. Druhou část jsem, stejně jako v sobotu, ještě přiložili pod kotel a skóre narůstalo až k třicetibodovému rozdílu. Úkolem pro druhý poločas bylo tentokrát už pokořit stobodovou hranici a motivací byly řízky. Soupeř se však nehodlal vzdát. Zaslouží si proto kredit za bojovnost, se kterou vstoupil do třetí čtvrtiny. Tuto část jsme vyhráli pouze 16:15. Bohužel na naší straně přibývalo víc ztracených míčů než bodů. Nedůslednost, lehkovážné přihrávky a špatné řešení situací, kdy převládal individualismus nad kolektivní hrou. Dlouho to na stovku nevypadalo (36.min 80:51), ale závěrečný čtyřminutový úsek stojí za pochvalu. Po vlažných minutách kluci intuitivně vytáhli obranu na celé hřiště. Získávali jsme jeden míč za druhým a dokázali jednoduše bodovat. Hráčem posledních minut byl Jáša, výbornou obranou zavelel k závěrečnému náporu, vytvořil si střelecký rekord a navíc si připsal ten rozhodující „stobodový“ koš (odčinil tak včerejší zaváhání). Na lavičce i v hlediště tak mohla propuknout radost. V každém zápase se všichni hráči zapsali mezi střelce. V neděli hned šest hráčů dosáhlo dvoucifernou hranici bodů. Za předvedený výkon nás přišel pochválit a vyfotit se s týmem i vzácný host tohoto utkání, pan prezident a bývalý basketbalista Václav Klaus.
